Only two days after four offices in the state Ministry of Commerce and Industry building were ravaged by an inferno, another fire incidence has gutted the office of the Lagos Inland Revenue Service on the third floor of Good Shepherd building, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
The incident, which occurred on Monday, was said to have started around 8:45am and razed a room in the office.
Confirming the fire outbreak, General Manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Michael Akindele, said, “The fire service officials got here three minutes after they got the distress call and were able to curtail the fire to only one office.”
