Fire guts Federal Secretariat Complex

Reports reaching DAILY POST has it that a section of the Federal Secretariat Complex in Abuja has been gutted by fire.

The fire, believed to have started at the section housing the Federal ministry of Education, started from the sixth floor and extended to the seventh and the eighth floor of the expansive complex.

Fire-fighters were reported to have battled seriously to control the fire from spreading to other parts of the complex.

As at the time of filling this report, fire fighters have succeeded in putting out the fire but there is still pandemonium in the vicinity. Sources at the scene also confirmed that there are no casualties.
