The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency on Saturday said it received a report of a fire outbreak at Customs Training School, Ikeja in Lagos.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
LASEMA spokesman, Adebayo Kehinde, told DAILY POST that there was no loss of life nor injury sustained at the scene.
However properties worth millions were lost.
“Three training classes were completely burnt, while the main training complex of about 10 classes were savaged,” he said.
“Operatives of the Agency, Lagos State Fire service from Ikeja, Ilupeju and Alausa with Nigeria Police were on ground.
“Recovery operation is still on going”, he added.
The spokesman quoted LASEMA General Manager LASEMA, Mr. Michael Akindele as assuring that proper investigation would be conducted.
