The Flying Eagles have lost their opening game of the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Manu Garba’s boys paid for their poor performance in the second half, as Brazil beat them 4-2 at the Stadium Taranaki New Plymouth.
Flor Da Silva scored in each half, while Gabriel Jesus and Boschilla Gabriel also registered their names on the scoresheet, as the South Americans overpowered the Flying Eagles once again.
Gabriel opened scoring as early as the 4th minute, before Nigeria replied with two goals from Isaac Success and Musa Yahaya.
But they eventually collapsed to the superior firepower of the Brazilians.
They will play Korea DPR next on Thursday at the same stadium.
