Real Madrid have confirmed that FIFA’s Appeal Committee, has provisionally suspended their transfer ban.

The La Liga club were banned from registering players in the next two windows, because of irregularities in signing players under 18.

Madrid along with their city rivals, Atletico, were both handed the punishment.

However, the world football governing body, has changed their stance following appeals from the two clubs. This means they will be allowed to register new players for the 2016/2017 season.

A statement on Real Madrid’s website reads: “Real Madrid CF announce that the FIFA Appeal Committee has decided to provisionally suspend the sanction imposed on the club.”

Atletico’s ban has also been suspended.
