The Super Falcons has climbed one position up to 37th in the latest FIFA world ranking.
Nigeria’s senior women national team, had earlier dropped nine places in September to 38th, following their exit from the early rounds of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.
The Falcons accrued a total of 1602 points to remain number one in Africa, ahead of Cameroon, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, South Africa, Cote d’Ivoire, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and Senegal.
In the overall ranking, the top 10 places remain unchanged, with USA leading the way, followed by Germany, France, Japan, England, Korea DPR, Brazil, Sweden, Australia and Norway.
Eight nations dropped out of the ranking due to prolonged inactivity.
