The Super Eagles are still 41st in the world, according to the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.

Nigeria had finished February in the same position and played no games between the last rankings and the current one.

The Eagles also retain their seventh place in Africa, behind Egypt, Senegal, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Tunisia and Congo DR.

Gernot Rohr’s men will play Senegal and Burkina Faso in international friendly matches later this month and will be hoping to use the games to garner points.

Argentina remain the highest-ranked team in the world, with Brazil in second place. Germany retain their third spot.

The next FIFA World Ranking will be published on April 6, 2017.
