Segun Odegbami has blamed rival Orji Uzor Kalu and former FIFA executive committee member, Amos Adamu, for his inability to get the backing of other African countries, in his quest to be elected the next FIFA president.
The former national team skipper has been endorsed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to contest, but could not get the nominations from five African FAs by Monday’s deadline, to be confirmed as a contestant.
“Where were Amos Adamu and (Orji) Kalu yesterday (Monday)? It’s a Nigerian thing to bring down others,” Odegbami fired.
“Well, I have done my own bit and it is left for others to do theirs.”
