Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez has hinted on the possible return of Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Ronaldo left Madrid as their all-time highest goalscorer to join the Serie A champions earlier this summer in a 100-million-euro deal.
The 33-year-old didn’t attend the FIFA Best award ceremony held in London on Monday despite being named in the FIFPro World XI.
Speaking to El Chiringuito on Monday night, Perez said Ronaldo is in the heart of every Los Blancos fan and that the Portuguese captain will be back to the club some day.
“Cristiano is the heart of every Real Madrid fan,” Perez said.
“If I had saw him today I would have hugged him. He is the natural successor of Di Stefano and he will be back at Real Madrid one day.”
