The Federal Government released Colonel Nicholas Ashinze, the former Military Assistant to Former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki, Wednesday afternoon.
The release follows a report by PRNigeria and published on DAILY POST, detailing how the government, the EFCC and the Military failed to respect a court order given 10 days ago to release Ashinze.
Colonel Ashinze, who had been under the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Military Authority, has already reunited with his family.
Pictures of him with his mother, brothers and his children after he arrived home were sent to DAILY POST Wednesday evening by PRNigeria.
