Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has expressed happiness after midfielder, Marouane Fellaini extended his contract with the Red Devils till 2020.
DAILY POST had reported that Fellaini signed a two-year-contract with the Old Trafford club.
But speaking to Manchester United’s official website, Mourinho said he’s is happy that the Belgium international will be staying at the club for two more years.
“I am very happy Marouane is staying with us,” Mourinho said.
“I always believed in his desire to stay with the club and I am delighted that he has signed a new contract.”
Fellaini has scored 20 goals in 156 appearances for United since joining the club from Everton in 2013 for £27m.
The 30-year-old is currently in Russia representing his country in the ongoing 2018 FIFA World Cup.
