Lyon midfielder, Nabil Fekir, has undergone his medical with Liverpool ahead of a £53million move.
Fekir is now expected to sign a five-year contract worth around £140,000 a week.
Afterwards, the France international will fly out with his national team for Lyon, to prepare for their final World Cup preparation game against the USA.
Anfield Sporting Director, Michael Edwards, negotiated a fee in principle of £49m for the Lyon attacker, which will rise to around £53m, with achievement-related bonus payments.
Liverpool were keen to complete the deal before the player departs for Russia.
He will now become Jurgen Klopp’s second arrival of this summer, following Fabinho’s move from Monaco. Attachments area
