Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Right Honourable (Pastor) Kola Oluwawole, has described the state governor, Chief (Dr) Peter Ayodele Fayose, as a dependable political leader who is worthy of bring entrusted with the care of leading the country.
The lawmaker, in a congratulatory message to mark the 57th year birthday of Chief Fayose, on Wednesday, noted that the governor was “a political icon of a mine whose potentialities are waiting to be tapped by the nation.”
According to the message issued in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, by his Special Assistant (Media), Stephen Gbadamosi, Oluwawole noted that celebrating Fayose was equivalent to celebrating good governance and commitment to the welfare of the downtrodden, praying to God to give the governor long life in service to humanity.
He also described the achievements of Governor Fayose in the state as legendary and as one that would be difficult to be matched by any governor of the state in future, adding that his legacy of service should be continued in the interest of the people of the state.
“I join other people of good conscience across the globe to felicitate with the Apesin of Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State governor, Dr Peter Ayodele Fayose on the occasion of his 57th birthday. Celebrating this rare breed of a leader is equal to celebrating good governance and commitment to the welfare of the downtrodden. This legacy of service must continue in the interest of our people.
“This is a man who has proven himself to be a dependable political leader that is worthy of being entrusted with the care of leading this country, Nigeria. He is a political icon of mines whose immense potentialities are waiting to be tapped by this nation. “It is, therefore, apt to pray to God to preserve Ayo Fayose, give him long life and make him of more blessing to our generation in Nigeria.
“I congratulate you and your family, Mr Governor,” the Speaker noted, while soliciting continued support of the Ekiti people for the Fayose political family” he said.
