Fatai Owoseni appointed new police commissioner for Benue State

The Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Kpotum Idris, has appointed the former Lagos state commissioner of police, Fatai Owoseni, as the new commissioner of police, Benue state command.
Fatai Owoseni will replace Bashir Makama as the new CP in the state.
This is coming at a time the police is at the center of herdsmen attacks in the state in order to restore security.
Recall that Buhari had ordered the Inspector General of Police to immediately relocate to Benue State to restore law and order, following killings perpetrated by Fulani herdsmen.
