Founder of O’dua Peoples Congress (OPC), Dr. Frederick Fasehun has called on Femi Adesina and Mallam Garba Shehu, spokesmen to President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure effective press freedom.
Fasehun, who doubles as the National Chairman of the Unity Party of Nigeria, while hailing the appointment of Adesina and Shehu as Buhari’s spokesmen, noted that the media played a big role during the just concluded elections.
He also noted that Adesina and Shehu’s appointment was commendable. He wished them well and prayed for their success.
He said, “Adesina and Shehu are some of the best in their craft, belonging to the crème de la crème of Nigerian journalism. They have always demonstrated depth in their analysis and opinions on national issues and in the solutions they have often proffered.”
Fasehun expressed confidence in both men stating that they would discharge their duties with intelligence and integrity.
