Farouk Lawan remanded in Kuje Prisons till February 8

An Abuja court on Friday, ordered that Farouk Lawan, who allegedly collected a $500,000 (N75 million) bribe from Femi Otedola, to be remanded in prison.

The judge ruled that the lawmaker should be kept in prison till February 8, when his bail application will be heard.

Lawan is standing trial, along with another House of Representatives member, Emenalo Boniface.
