Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation, has revealed real reasons why teaching of history was stopped in schools in Nigeria.
Fani-Kayode, who is a staunch critic of the Buhari administration, gave two reasons history was stopped
The former minister said history was stopped in order to prevent Nigerians from awareness that “some of its leaders are genocidal maniacs who have committed mass murder and treason.”
Fani-Kayode made this claim on Thursday on his Twitter page.
According to him, “The reason they stopped teaching history in our schools is firstly because they don’t want you to know that we were once a decent, civilised people
“Secondly, because they do not want you to know that some of our leaders are genocidal maniacs who have committed mass murder and treason.”
