Fani-Kayode reacts to Innoson’s bail refusal

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation, has reacted to the refusal of Innocent Chukwuma of Innoson Motors to be released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The anti-graft agency had earlier announced his release on the condition of bail.

Chukwuma, however, rejected the bail on the grounds that he had not been informed the reason for his arrest.

In his reaction, Fani-Kayode, commended the businessman for his strength and courage.

In tweet via his twitter handle, he wrote “Only a real man can reject an offer of bail from his jailers and demand that they must tell him what he did to warrant his humiliation, arrest and detention before leaving their dingy cells and going home.

“I commend the courage and strength of Innocent Chukwuma of Innoson Motors.”
