Fani-Kayode reacts to call for Oshiomhole’s resignation as APC Chairman

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has said he feels sorry for the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, over the call for his immediate resignation.

DAILY POST earlier reported that the Deputy National Chairman of the APC (North), Lawani Shuaib, had urged Oshiomhole to tender his resignation letter following the Supreme Court’s nullification of the party’s primaries in Zamfara state.

Reacting in a post on his Twitter handle, Fani-Kayode claimed that the call for Oshiomhole’s resignation by the deputy chairman was sanctioned by a more powerful politician.

He also claimed that the APC Chairman had been used and was on the verge of been dumped.

Fani-Kayode wrote: “When your Deputy publicly calls for you to step down you know that someone powerful and strategic is behind it.

“I feel sorry for my old friend and brother Adams Oshiomole.

“They have used him and now they want to dump him. Watch your back old friend: these guys don’t take prisoners.”
