Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation, on Friday reacted to Federal Government’s defense of Fulani herdsmen’s attacks in Nigeria.
The Minister of Defence had yesterday said the implementation of Anti-Open Grazing bill in some states was the cause of the killings by Fulani herdsmen in the country.
But in his reaction, the former Minister described the defence as “provocative and insulting.”
The Peoples Democratic Party’s Chieftain said this in a series of tweet via his social media handle.
The tweet reads, “The attempt to justify the genocidal barbarity of the Fulani terrorists by the Min. of Defence is provocative and insulting.
“It is in the same way that Pres. Buhari attempted to justify and defend Boko Haram in 2014 by saying “an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the north”.
“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”- ISAIAH 40: 30, 31.”
