The Super Falcons will face either Guinea or Senegal for a place at the 10th African Women Championship finals, which will be held in Cameroon.
Nigeria won the last edition of the tournament in Namibia last year and have been drawn into the second and final round of qualifiers along with Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Ivory Coast and South Africa.
The first round of the qualifiers will be played in March 2016, before the Falcons take on Guinea or Senegal on the weekend of April 8-10. The return leg will be played two weeks later in Nigeria.
Nigeria won the title in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2010 and 2014.
