Arsenal Ladies forward, Asisat Oshoala, has insisted that the Super Falcons are not under any pressure, to claim their 10th African Women’s Cup of Nations title, when this year’s tournament kicks off in Cameroon this month.
Nigeria clinched a record ninth title in Windhoek, Namibia in 2014.
“We are currently rebuilding a new team under a new coach and I believe we’re more like the underdogs going into the tournament, which makes us more free to express ourselves on the pitch,” Oshoala told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“The coach is gradually instilling her ideas on the team and I’m confident we will not disappoint.”
The competition will run from November 19 to December 3.
Nigeria is in Group B, along with Ghana, Kenya and Mali.
