Fabregas blasts referee after getting booked for diving

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, has lashed out at referee Anthony Taylor for showing him a yellow card during their 1-1 draw with Southampton on Sunday.

The Spanish midfielder appeared to be fouled by debutant Matt Targett in thhe area, but was instead booked for simulation.

After the match, Fabregas insisted there was contact ebfore he went down and criticized Taylor for having a bad game.

“I don’t think the referee had the best game of his life,” he told Sky Sports. “I don’t know if he will be able to sleep well tonight or not, he had a really bad game.

“But, we’re all human, I’m sure this will happen as it happens to everyone. We have a bad day at the office and that’s it. We have to talk about football and the football we played today was good.”
