Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, has confirmed that forward, Hudson-Odoi, will start in his side’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday night.
According to Daily Mail, Sarri on Sunday morning included the 18-year-old in his starting line-up that will tackle Sheffield Wednesday in tonight’s fixture at Stamford Bridge after Hudson-Odoi has confided in friends that he did not wish to play today’s game.
Hudson-Odoi wants to leave Sarri’s side to join Bayern Munich, who have offered Chelsea £40million.
The 18-year-old is frustrated by Chelsea’s refusal to sell him to the Bundesliga champions.
The England youngster is determined to seal his dream move to Germany before the end of the transfer window.
Chelsea have won eight of their past 10 FA Cup ties against Sheffield Wednesday, most recently a 1-0 fifth-round win in 1999.
The kick-off time for the match is 7pm.
