Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte has accused Jose Mourinho and his Manchester United team of targeting Eden Hazard, in their 1-0 win in the FA Cup quarter-final clash on Monday night.
Hazard was subjected to a number of rash tackles from the visitors, which eventually resulted in Ander Herrera getting sent off for two bookable offences in the first half.
Speaking after the game, Conte told reporters: “I think for 20-25 minutes, it was impossible for Hazard to play football. He got a lot of kicks.
“It’s not football for me, kicking. Sometimes when you play against players of great talent, you try to intimidate them.”
The Italian tactician, however, insisted again, that Mourinho has one of the best squads in England.
“I repeat for me, United have the best squad in the league, and they showed this tonight,” Conte added.
