Eden Hazard scored what proved to be the decisive goal, as Chelsea defeated Manchester United 1-0 to win this year’s FA Cup final.
Both teams came into the game, knowing it was their last chance of winning silverware this season.
United finished second in the Premier League behind Manchester City and were dumped out of the Champions League by Sevilla.
Chelsea on their part, did not even make the top four in the league and were eliminated in Europe by Barcelona.
In the first half of the match at Wembley, Hazard burst into the area and was fouled by Phil Jones. Referee Michael Oliver pointed to the spot and the Belgian stepped up to send David De Gea the wrong way.
There were no goals in the second half, as Antonio Conte’s men held on for victory.
