Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte has explained why he was angry with striker, Alvaro Morata after their victory against Norwich .
The Blues had to depend on penalty shootout to move to the English FA Cup fourth round against a resilient Norwich side on Wednesday.
Conte believes Morata should have played with caution having being booked already in the clash.
Speaking to English press about Morata’s dismissal, Conte said: “For sure I think I am not happy for the second yellow card to Morata.
“The first was for a doubtful situation, but the second was for dissent. “You must pay great attention because in this moment in the game you have to stay calm.”
When asked whether he thought Morata and Pedro dived, Conte added: “I don’t know. I don’t want an advantage. Morata was sent off in the extra time of the game.
“If there was a diving then it is right to give a yellow card, I don’t want the advantage, especially if there is this system.
“If it was not a penalty it was right to give a yellow card.”
Chelsea will now face Newcastle in all-Premier League fourth-round tie on January 28.
