N’Golo Kante scored the only goal, as Chelsea defeated Manchester United 1-0 in their FA Cup quarter-final clash on Monday night at Stamford Bridge.

The tie was evenly balanced in the first half, with Jose Mourinho able to name a recognised striker in Marcus Rashford, after a number of injuries.

Chelsea gained control of the game, after Ander Herrera was sent off for two bookable offences by referee Michael Oliver in the first half.

However, the Blues were only able to score once, after Kante was allowed space and time to shoot from over 25 yards.

Antonio Conte’s men will now play any of Manchester City, Arsenal or Tottenham in the semi-final at Wembley.
