Ezeokafor lauds Obi, Umeh on their birthdays

The Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. Paulinus Chukwuemeka Ezeokafor has congratulated the immediate past governor of Anambra State, Chief Peter Obi and the National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA), Chief Sir Victor Umeh on their 53rd and 52nd birthday celebrations, respectively.

In a congratulatory messages signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Bishop, Mr. Abuchi Onwumelu, Ezeokafor appreciated God for the gift of the former Governor, Peter Obi and said Obi’s 8 years tenure as the executive governor of Anambra State was full of remarkable achievements and great memories.

He noted that as Anambra helmsman, he was able to restore people’s confidence in governance, adding that his financial shrewdness stood Anambra out as one of the most progressive and economic viable states in Nigeria.

The Catholic Bishop, while eulogizing Chief Obi, prayed God to continue to bless and strengthen the former governor, who he described as a gift to mankind.

Congratulating Umeh, Bishop Ezeokafor who is an ardent promoter of hard work, prayerfulness, justice and love for one another, described Chief Victor Umeh as a political warrior who has fought many political wars, noting that Umeh’s purposeful leadership qualities had made APGA the party to beat in Anambra State.

“I don’t need to be a politician before expressing knowledge of what is going on politically in my State, Umeh has done so well as a leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA) and therefore, should be commended; his courage and die hard spirit should also be emulated. Once again, I say big congratulations to these two political juggernauts”, Bishop Ezeokafor stated.
