Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, has declared he is in top shape, ahead of the international friendly matches against Poland and Serbia this month.
Ezenwa has been included in the 28-man squad coach Gernot Rohr released on Wednesday.
The Enyimba stopper only returned to training last week, after the injury he sustained while on duty for Nigeria during the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.
“I am glad to be invited for the two international friendly matches and I promise to give my best.
“I want to thank the coaches for the confidence and belief they have in me and I want to say that this is another opportunity for me to serve my country.
“I have started training for over two weeks now and I can say that I am very okay and ready to play.
“I am also happy that we are playing these friendly matches because I believe the matches will help us to prepare well for the World Cup,” he told Complete Sports.
Nigeria will play Poland in Warsaw on March 23 and face Serbia on March 27 in London.
