Super Eagles’ second-choice goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa has debunked rumours that he could miss
Ezenwa was replaced in the 70th minute by Uche Okafor, as IfeanyiUbah FC defeated Enyimba 1-0, in a Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Match Day 37 clash on Sunday.
The former Sunshine Stars stopper, is among the 23 players Gernot Rohr called up for the match, which will be played at the Levy Nwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
“I only had a minor cramp in the game against Enyimba and there is nothing serious about it,” he told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“It’s normal to have this type of injury when you play too many games within a short period like we have done in the NPFL this season.
“I’m fully fit and ready for the game against Zambia and will be in camp with my colleagues next week.”
