Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

There was major traffic gridlock this morning in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, as ex militants, numbering over 200 barricaded the Olu Obasanjo road in the city, while protesting alleged deduction of their N65,000 monthly allowance by their leaders. According to the ex-militants, their leaders connived with a certain new generation bank to make the illegal deductions and short-paid them.

The protest resulted in heavy traffic bottleneck on the road and the adjourning ones in the ares.

More to come…
