A former Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Habib Jega, has died in an auto crash.
It was gathered that the accident occurred along Birnin Kebbi-Kangiwa road at about 5:21 p.m. on Friday.
The deceased is the Special Adviser on Local Government to the current Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abubakar Dakingari, has confirmed the death.
Late Jega was impeached in 2015 during the build up to the 2015 general election.
