Reports reaching DAILY POST has it that Former Bayelsa State governor and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Timipre Silva, has been arrested by the Department of State Service, DSS in Abuja on Friday.
When contacted for confirmation, the Spokesperson for the DSS, Marylyn Ogar, denied knowledge of the arrest.
The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, however confirmed the arrest, promising to issue a statement on Sylva’s arrest soon.
