Evangelist Mike Bamiloye warns Nigerians over fraudsters impersonating him


Popular gospel dramatist and filmmaker, Evang. Mike Bamiloye of the Mount Zion Faith Ministries has warned those impersonating and using his hard earned name and reputation to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians to desist from the wicked and devilish act.

Embittered Bamiloye who cried out to Dailypost, said he and his team recently discovered some persons using his e-mail to perpetuate evil and criminal activities. Narrating his shocking experience, Bamilopye who is also BoT, All-Nigerian Conference of Evangelical Drama Ministers (ANCEDRAM) said the fraudsters went as far as sending the fraudulent message to all his e-mail contacts.

In a telephone chat with DailyPost, the The BoT, All-Nigerian Conference of Evangelical Drama Ministers (ANCEDRAM) however added that the suspects are just out to dent his hard-earned name and reputation as a drama minister. He however warned his esteemed fans and followers never to transact business with the said account. The message reads: I hope you’re doing well, I made an emergency trip to London late yesterday night , I was meant to pay some one 100,000 naira to do a very important job for me and I just discovered I forgot my token device for online transfer in Nigeria. Can you help me remit the sum? I will refund as soon as am back, Please I don’t mind paying you back with interest. Let me know,

He denied being the sender of the said message, adding that he had since reported the ugly incident to the management of Yahoo.

“I became suspicious and totally embarrassed when my colleagues and friends started calling to tell me. I have put a disclaimer also using this medium to cry out to Nigerians, never to transact business with them,” the seasoned filmmaker added.
