Europa League: What Unai Emery said after Arsenal booked final clash with Chelsea

Arsenal boss, Unai Emery hailed a “perfect” performance from his side after they reached the Europa League final on Thursday.

The former Sevilla coach also warned that his side must now follow up this stunning performance by beating Chelsea in the final and lifting the trophy.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted his first hat-trick for the Gunners, as the Gabon striker partnered to score a magnificent seven goals in the semi-final destruction of his former club, Valencia.

“We can be proud of the players and the supporters,” Emery said at post match press conference.

“I thought the players were perfect. It is not finished, the success. It is one step more to play the final.

“We are happy but also we know it is going to continue to be difficult to win. It is not easy to play finals.”

Yesterday’s performance will go down as one of Arsenal’s best ever European displays.
