Shkodran Mustafi warned his Arsenal teammates against Barcelona’s mistake before they faced CSKA Moscow in Russia.
Mustapha told his teammates that they should be acutely aware that an upset could be on the cards after Roma sensationally beat Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday
BT Sport quoted Mustafi as saying, “There’s an advantage when you win 4-1 at home but still, everyone who watched [Barcelona lose to Roma] knows that if you don’t take it seriously and if you think that you are safe, it can happen that you concede three goals and you go home very disappointed.
“We have to make sure we finish off the job that we started in the first leg and now we have to finish it off.”
The Gunners won the first leg 4-1 at the Emirate Stadium.
They were stunned with two early goals in Moscow before Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey equalized and put them through to semifinals.
