Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has said his team has to be at their best, if they are to beat Atletico Madrid in the Europa League semi-final.
The Gunners are banking on the competition, as their route into next season’s Champions League.
When asked on Friday if Arsenal need to win the trophy, Wenger replied: “It would be better, yes.
“It is important that now we have a big opponent to beat them.
“Atletico are the favourites for the competition. But at our best, we can beat them.”
Wenger also did not hide the fact that he has switched his focus from the league to Europe.
“It is the priority. We don’t have much to go for in the Premier League.
“We are Arsenal and we want to win matches. Every game is important.
“At home, we have had a good season. Away from home is where we have failed,” he added.
