Europa League: Unai Emery reveals Arsenal squad for Sporting Lisbon clash

Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, has named a strong squad for Thursday’s Europa League clash at Sporting Lisbon.

Emery has travelled to Portugal, looking for a third straight win in the competition and 11th consecutive victory in all.

Seventeen of the 18 players named in the squad for the 3-1 win over Leicester City have travelled, with only 18-year-old Zech Medley missing out on the Europa League travelling party.

Instead, Emery has opted to include forgotten man Carl Jenkinson and fourth choice goalkeeper Deyan Iliev in the squad for the clash, with Petr Cech still out injured.

Also included are Sokratis Papastathopoulos, who has been out with a hamstring injury, and Mohamed Elneny.
