FC Rostov are seeking to make history, when they travel to Old Trafford, for the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie against Manchester United.
The Russian club played out a 1-1 draw with Jose Mourinho’s side in the first leg and United will be strong favourites to progress on Thursday.
However, Rostov, who have already defeated Bayern Munich in the Champions league in their first ever season in European, will be eager to claim another major scalp.
Coach Ivan Daniliants insists his team is confident ahead of the match.
“Both clubs have their own history, but we are here to make history,” he told a pre-match press conference.
“We want to unite and to show a decent performance. We trust in our team. We believe in every single player and I am sure that if we do our best the outcome will be positive.”
