Europa League: Iwobi speaks on Arsenal playing Chelsea in final, finishing EPL top four

Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi, has spoken on the club’s chances of winning the Europa League and also finish top four in the Premier League this season.

Arsenal will be facing Valencia in the semi-final of the Europa League and may meet Premier League rivals in the final.

Iwobi said his side is battling to finish in the top four in the EPL and also to win the Europa League.

He maintained that they are not prioritising either, adding that the Gunners will approach the games as they come.

“We are battling to finish in the top four in the Premier League and also to win the Europa League and we are not prioritising either Our approach is to take it game by game. In the Europa League our next challenge is Valencia who are a very good side,” he told allnigeriasoccer.

“There is no need to set our sights on Chelsea until we get past Valencia and again there is no guarantee that Chelsea will get past Eintracht Frankfurt.

“We have a very good manager who has won this competition several times (three) and we shall continue to work hard to win this competition and have a great finish to the season.”

On their home game against Crystal Palace on Monday, the Nigeria international added, “The mood in the camp is very positive as each win brings greater confidence. Beating Watford and Napoli away was very pleasing given the fact that our away form has not been great.

“Every game in the Premier League is difficult and I expect the match against Crystal Palace to be no different. Our home form has been good and as usual we are going to prepare very well to get a win which will keep us in the running for a top-four finish.”
