Arsenal legend, Martin Keown, said he was embarrassed to witness Arsenal’s first half performance against Ostersunds at the Emirates after the Swedish side took a 2-0 lead into the break in their Europa League round of 32 second leg on Thursday.
The Gunners won the first leg 3-0 in Sweden last Thursday, meaning Arsene Wenger was able to name a weakened side in the second leg at the Emirates.
However, two goals in 70 seconds stunned the home crowd into silence and the Swedish side needed just one more goal to take the tie to extra time.
Keown said he was embarassed to see Wenger’s side’s performance in the first half and reserved criticism for Sead Kolasinac.
He told BT Sport, “Kolasinac doesn’t seem the same player as the one who joined – he was an animal but he doesn’t seem hungry now.
“The goal was coming, not one part of the Arsenal team is functioning, the team is imploding.
“I am embarassed watching as a former player never mind how Arsene Wenger must feel.
“It’s a big week for Arsenal, they’re not going to win the Europa League with a performance like this.”
