Europa League final: Sarri speaks on getting sacked if Chelsea loses to Arsenal

Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, has said he would rather quit should the club base their decision on his future solely on the result of the Europa League final.

The Blues take on Arsenal in Baku next Wednesday despite being already assured of a place in next season’s Champions League.

But Sarri’s future at the club remains the subject of intense speculations.

Asked how he would feel if Chelsea decided to dismiss him for losing the Europa League final, Sarri told a press conference on Wednesday: “If the situation is like this I want to go immediately.

“You cannot [do] 10 months of work, and then I have to play everything in 90 minutes?

“It’s not right. It’s not the right way. You’re either happy about my work or you’re not happy.”
