Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has dedicated their 2-0 win over Ajax in the Europa League final, to victims of the Manchester terror attack this week.

The club’s record signing opened scoring in the 18th minute via a deflection, before Henrikh Mkhitaryan sealed victory early in the second half.

Pogba, who recently lost his father, said after the game: “We work for them. We play for Manchester. We play for England.”

Speaking on the game in Stockholm, the France international said their mission was to win the match, despite a poor season that saw them finish sixth in the Premier League.

“The objective was to win. All the way to Stockholm. We are very proud. They said we had a bad season, but the prize is here,” he said.

United will now join Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City and Liverpool, as the five English clubs in next season’s Champions League.
