Ese finally regains freedom after IGP’s intervention

Freedom has finally come the way of the 14-year-old Ese Oruru, who was allegedly abducted last August in Opolo, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, by a Kano indigene named Yunusa.

Ese, Punch reports was freed on Monday by the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase.

It was widely reported that Ese, who was 13 as at the time of her alleged abduction was taken to Kano, by Yunusa, who converted her to Islam and eventually married her.
