Former Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, is waiting for the call from Manchester United to take over from Jose Mourinho.
Zidane is very interested in succeeding Mourinho at United and is following the development at Old Trafford.
United’s hierarchy are backing Mourinho for now and believe he can still turn around the club’s fortunes on the pitch.
But Mirror Sport reports Zidane is ready to step in, if the Premier League club feels they need to make a change.
Zidane, 46, has an impressive CV and in his two-and-a-half year spell in charge of Real Madrid he won three successive Champions Leagues and one La Liga.
He quit Real after Champions League Final win over Liverpool in May, because of disagreements with the club’s board.
