Chelsea forward, Willian has revealed the club’s best players so far this season.
Willian said that new signings Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho have been the club’s standout players in training so far this season.
The Blues have won their two opening matches in the Premier League, bouncing back from a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Community Shield.
New manager, Maurizio Sarri was determined to bring Jorginho with him from Napoli to Stamford Bridge and the 26-year-old midfielder has impressed, playing the full 90 minutes in Chelsea’s victories over Huddersfield and Arsenal.
Kovacic, who completed a season-long loan from Real Madrid, is yet to start as he works his way back to full fitness but the Croatian has impressed Willian at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground.
Asked who has been the best player in training this term, the Brazilian told Chelsea’s official website, “Everyone has been training well but I would say Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic have been very good.
“They both bring a lot of quality to the team.”
