Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, has said his team can take heart from their second-half performance against Wolves, after telling them to forget about the first 45 minutes.
The Gunners’ top-four ambitions took a dent on Wednesday night, as they succumbed to a 3-1 defeat.
Ruben Neves, Matt Doherty and Diogo Jota all scored in the first half, before Sokratis grabbed a consolation goal after the break.
“In the dressing room we spoke of how we needed to recover and be strong in our mind.
“Score one goal was the first idea and after if we can take minutes we can continue in our plans. The second half is different but not enough,” Emery told reporters in the mixed zone.
