Arsenal new manager, Unai Emery has described play-maker, Mesut Ozil, as a “big talent”.
Emery, who was on Wednesday appointed as Arsene Wenger’s successor, disclosed that he wants to work with the 29-year-old.
The Spaniard, however, said he is looking forward to working with Ozil, who signed a new deal at the Emirates in February, and the rest of Arsenal’s players.
Asked about Ozil’s role, Emery told reporters: “He’s one of biggest talents here at Arsenal and I want talented players here.
“I want to spend time here with him and all players. I want to speak to them about how inspired and excited I am to be here.
“Above all, I think this is a wonderful project and we all must give 100 per cent – I expect that from players and myself.
“This team is a big team with big players and we think we need change.”
