Manchester United interim boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has told the squad that he is building his team around Paul Pogba.
Pogba was alienated by previous manager Jose Mourinho and axed from the starting XI, after a series of run-ins over his best position and role in the team.
But Solskjaer immediately restored Pogba to the side after taking over and he has thrived ever since, having a hand in eight goals in his last five Premier League matches.
The UK Sun reports that Solskjaer met with Pogba and told him that he rates him as the best midfielder in the Premier League and will build the team around him.
The Norwegian coach has echoed that message to the rest of the squad, making it clear that Pogba has license to do whatever he likes.
United’s side now operate around Pogba, and Solskjaer has stressed to everyone that if Pogba plays well, so will the rest of the team.
